The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) serves its members by providing leadership for the administration of education-based high school athletics and activities through the writing of playing rules that emphasize health and safety, educational programs that develop leaders, and administrative support to increase opportunities and promote sportsmanship.
Its The NFHS Learning Center – www.nfhslearn.com – launched in 2007 and has delivered nearly 7 million courses to coaches, students, administrators, parents, officials and others throughout the United States. Originally, most courses were designed for coaches, however the NFHS Learning Center now has online courses for officials, students, parents and individuals involved in performing arts programs, such and music, speech and debate, and theatre. The Learning Center hosts nearly 60 courses and nearly half of them are available free of charge.
